[Cusom26] PLEASE READ: 2-Step PPD & Quantiferon Blood Test Clarification

Good morning,

I wanted to send an email clarifying a few items, when it comes to your updated TB test.


1.      This must be a NEW test. Any test placed before May 1st, will not be accepted. Please make sure you are getting a new TB test done, by the July 1st deadline.

2.      For your PPD to qualify as a 2-step, you must do the following:

a.      Get your PPD placed.

b.      Have your results read 48-72 hours after your test was placed

c.       If this result is negative, you must repeat the test placement and result reading 1-3 weeks after your negative test result.

d.      If your original result is positive, please email me.

3.      Once you have your TB test results, please email them to the coordinator at your clinical campus and me.
