Dear Students,

We will be using Zoom to proctor the Practice Qualifying Exam tomorrow (listed on the schedule as review exam; it is a full-fledged practice exam for COMLEX Level 1 so it will contain some questions for content you haven't had/seen yet - Endo, GI, and Repro; as are your actual qualifying exams, QE 1 & QE 2).

You will all join my room below and then we will split you into breakout rooms for proctoring the exam. You will need to keep your camera on the entire time you are taking the exam. We can tell the difference when your camera is struggling due to a poor connection. When you are finished with the first COMSAE please send a chat to your proctor that you have finished. Then you will be allowed to leave the breakout room and meeting. You will rejoin the meeting using the same link at 1:20pm so we can promptly start again at 1:30pm to take the second half of the exam.

The link to zoom can be found here: https://campbell-edu.zoom.us/j/7592072557?pwd=TlM2N05GZkZndFRIeWJ3NDRGNVBJZz09

As you probably have figured out by now, the Practice Qualifying Exam consists of 2 COMSAE exams from the NBOME. It behooves you to take these seriously. The exam is scheduled properly, meaning the timing is based on serious attempts at answering these questions. COMLEX Level 1 is an 8 hour exam. You can read more about the details of how the test is administered at Pearson Vue<https://www.nbome.org/assessments/comlex-usa/comlex-usa-level-1/exam-day/> on the NBOME website<https://www.nbome.org/assessments/comlex-usa/comlex-usa-level-1/examination-format/>. That being said there is no score/combined score you need to achieve, nor can you qualify to sit for boards based on this exam (you can only via QE 1 or QE 2, in March and April 2024, respectively). The second half of the exam (i.e. the second COMSAE) will not start until 1:30pm.

Hopefully, by now your NBOME account has been set up and everything is working correctly. If not that's ok, we will need to get it resolved before the first COMSAE in the morning. If you are having difficulties tomorrow simply stay in the main room. We will get you straightened out before sending you off to your breakout room.

All other normal/standard exam conditions apply. Just to refresh you on those:

- Please see chart below for info on what's allowed and not allowed
- If you need to use the bathroom, please just simply do so quietly.
- Your microphone does not need to be on, but your video does need to remain on.

If you run into an issues with your computer or NBOME, we are ready to assist and will work with you to make sure you can successfully complete your exam. For technical support, you can simply come back to the main room. If your browser experiences issues simply close it. Then open a fresh browser, navigate back to your NBOME account and you will be able to pick up right where you left off.
