Hello Student Doctors,
The Point of Care Ultrasound Club (POCUS) will be having a Open Ultrasound Lab day next Tuesday September 12, 2023 in the SIM lab from 2PM-4PM (use the doors next to classroom 200).
If you haven't attended an open lab before, you have the opportunity to use CUSOM's ultrasound SIM equipment. This equipment can simulate what different pathologies like look like with ultrasound. This is a unique opportunity to correlate many of the things we are learning in our cardiorespiratory block like PE induced right heart strain, cardiac tamponade, dilated/hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, etc. It's also a fun and laid back environment to refine your ultrasound skills!
