Please see the reminder below about an upcoming poster event.  This is a regional event with a poster competition.  An ideal presentation opportunity.
Abstract deadline is roughly a month away, so you have time to get an abstract in.  Please reach out if you want to discuss this further or want to refine an abstract before submission.
As a reminder, you must have all authors approval before you submit an abstract. Before your poster presentation, you should submit the research notification form.
When you are ready to print your poster, CUSOM can print it for for you.

Just wanted to send a friendly reminder about the upcoming deadline for abstract submissions for the annual SHM NC Triangle Research, Innovation, and Clinical Vignette (RIV) Abstract and Poster Competition. This is an awesome opportunity to share your research, quality improvement / innovation work, and interesting clinical cases with enthusiastic colleagues.  It is also a great way to add to your growing list of peer-reviewed accomplishments!



Who can submit? ANYONE! Attending physicians, APPS, resident physicians, and students are all welcome to submit their work!  YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF SHM OR A HOSPITALIST TO PARTICIPATE



How much does it cost? From submission to attendance, the entire event is free!



How many abstracts can I submit? As many as you want!  We encourage any-and-all submissions!



When is the deadline to submit my abstract(s)? September 1 (about 4 weeks from now!)
