The Exceptional Camels Club wanted to share this amazing training opportunity that UNC TEACCH is providing to medical professionals. This is something that would really benefit individuals interested in psychiatry and pediatrics!!

They are currently offering a free Project ECHO Autism training that is held virtually twice per month and is focused on providing training to medical professionals (including students!) to learn more about screening for ASD and supporting families post diagnosis (including managing common comorbid feeding issues, anxiety, ADHD, etc). The sessions are a mix of brief lectures and case presentations and are 90 minutes long.

In partnership with Healthy Blue, UNC TEACCH is announcing an upcoming Spring/Summer 2023 cohort of Project ECHO Autism for medical providers beginning March 6, 2023. They are offering 12, free teleconsultation sessions including a brief didactic and an opportunity for case presentations are held via Zoom the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at lunch time (11:45-1:15) for medical providers across NC (pediatricians, family medicine doctors, nurses, PAs, NPs) who are interested in learning more about screening, treatment options, and resources for individuals with autism and their families. CME and Level IV MOC credits are also being provided at no cost.

More information, including a list of all session dates can be found here<http://secure.campaigner.com/csb/Public/show/9t4d-2mudax--12f8y5-7ysnbd74>. To register to participate click here:https://unc.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6EEZGsJdxvKKL8W
