Subject: Thriving with Down Syndrome Speaker

Hello everyone,

Exceptional Camels Club is excited to announce our very first event as an independent club! We are fortunate enough to be having Matthew Schwab as our guest speaker. Matthew will be sharing his “Thriving is Down Syndrome” presentation and talking about his experiences in healthcare as a young man with Down syndrome.

This event will be on Friday, 2/24 between 12-1pm in room 202. We will be providing pizza and baked goods. Please RSVP on Engage, so we can have an idea of the amount of food to bring. This event is open to all staff and students, however, if you are interested in becoming a member of the Exceptional Camels Club this would be a great opportunity to sign up.

Here is a link to Matthew’s TedTalk if you are interested in learning more about him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKNftrna8B4&feature=youtu.be

Here is also a link to RSVP: https://campbell.campuslabs.com/engage/event/8903123

Sincerely,
Nidhi Kumar and Cameron Nogle
