"Hey everybody, I hope you are settling into Block 5 well. There are a few things that Sports Medicine Club is going to be running these upcoming 2 blocks.
1.       Mass Physical for Campbell Athletics on Saturday, 8/26/23. It will be held at the Nursing School on the 2nd floor. It will run from 7:45AM until we finish, which could be as late as 3:00 PM. At this event, we will be doing ~300 preparticipation exams for Campbell Athletes. We are looking for a couple of volunteers to assist with this event. These volunteers would be assisting with scribing for the Orthopedic surgeons and PAs, taking vitals, assisting with electrocardiograms, or other tasks. 2.       Sideline shadowing for Fall 2023. This Fall, we will have the opportunity for you to shadow on the sideline for high school football (Triton HS and Harnett Central HS), Campbell Women's Soccer, and Campbell Men's Soccer. There will be other opportunities in the winter and spring. We will limit this to one student per event. Prior to being allowed to attend these games, you will have to complete a talk on how to conduct yourselves on the sideline. These will be accompanied by one of the two sports medicine fellows. If you are wondering what to wear to these events, check out our quarter-zips which will stop being sold on wednesday the 16th.
