Subject: Re: Neurology Club Event Request

The holidays can be a time of isolation and loneliness for older adults who do not have loved ones and friends nearby.

Help The Center for Volunteer Caregiving bring holiday joy to 300 of the older adults and adults with disabilities it serves by donating items for gift bags that will be delivered in December.

Items Needed:
- Puzzle books
- Hand sanitizer
- Lotion
- Pocket-sized tissues
- Wrapped candy
- Individual packets of hot chocolate
- Socks
- Breakfast bars
- Individually wrapped tea bags
- Personal care items
- Individually wrapped crackers and snacks
- Toothbrush
- Toothpaste

The Neurology Club will be collecting items through Monday November 28, 2022. Please drop off your items in the neuro club box near the security desk on the first floor. Put your name on a sticky note and include it with your items for TOUCH hours (3 Items = 1 TOUCH hour).

Don’t have time to shop and drop off items? You can give a tax-deductible donation to The Center to cover purchased items online at www.volunteercaregiving.org<http://www.volunteercaregiving.org> (select “Donate” tab at the top right) or mail a check payable to The Center for Volunteer Caregiving, 1150 SE Maynard Road, Suite 210, Cary, NC 27511. (A $30 donation will fund one gift bag.)

Thank you,
Claudia Foubert MS-II
