Subject: CUCCC Updates
Hello Class of 2026!
Hope you all are doing well!
I wanted to send out some exciting information regarding the Campbell University Community Care Clinic (CUCCC).
Starting next block, you will be able to volunteer at the CUCCC. You will be working with other medical students, residents, and attendings as well as pharmacy and PA students to provide care for patients! To be eligible to participate you MUST attend volunteer training. This will be held Tuesday, September 13th. There will be two sessions. The first will begin at 2:15pm for those who have OMM at 3pm. The other will start at 3:15pm for those who are in the second OMM group. There will be a brief presentation on the clinic and multiple members from both the standing and mobile clinic present for questions. The training will be held in lecture hall 201. Feel free to contact me with questions or concerns.
But WAIT there’s more. You will also see attached descriptions and contacts for CUCCC leadership positions. Starting in Block 3 YOU will be leading the CUCCC. I will send out an application in the coming weeks to apply for these positions. We will select leaders during Block 2 following an interview process. It is HIGHLY encouraged if you wish to apply for a leadership position that you attend volunteer training. We will try to prioritize those wanting to apply for leadership to volunteer in Block 2. Feel free in the interim to contact the student leaders listed for more information regarding their position. You must have a 3.0 GPA to apply for leadership positions. You will notice, however, that there are several chair and non-voting positions as well. These do not require an application and do not have a GPA requirement.
