[Cusom26] Clinical Chair of Pediatrics Announcement

I would like to welcome Lori Langdon, MD, as the new Clinical Chair of Pediatrics for CUSOM. Dr. Langdon graduated from Duke University School of Medicine in 1995 and completed her Pediatrics Internship and Residency at Children's Medical Center at The University of Virginia Health Sciences Center in 1998. Dr. Langdon has almost 25 years' experience in her field and was previously medical director at Premiere Pediatrics of Harnett Health before spending 13 years at Jeffers, Mann, and Artman Pediatrics in Clayton. She returned to Premiere Pediatrics in April 2021. She has provided guest lectures to both CUSOM and the PA school in the past and began precepting our medical students in May 2021. Dr. Langdon is also the author of a children's book, Trudy the Brave Donkey, and host of a YouTube Channel called Doctor Langdon<https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChvs0Leih5iiRQBf2hp2ZRQ/featured>.

I would also like to thank Dr. Stephen DeMeo, who has served in the role of Clinical Advisor for Pediatrics for almost 18 months.  He will continue to advise those students interested in Pediatrics for Match 2023 and assist in Dr. Langdon's transition with the residency advising piece of her duties.  Dr. DeMeo will continue to serve as Regional Dean for Region 3a/Raleigh.
