Good afternoon CU DPT Class of 2024!

I wanted to take a brief moment to introduce myself. My name is Dr. Bridget Eubanks and I am an Assistant Professor in the DPT department and Assistant Director of Clinical Education. I have been out on maternity leave since the end of
October and today is my first day back! I’m sorry to have missed your first few weeks in school, but so looking forward to meeting you all soon!

I will have you in DPT 726 this summer and can introduce myself more formally then, but just to get started, here are a few little tidbits about me:

I was born in Washington, DC, attended Virginia Tech for undergrad (go hokies!), and graduated with my DPT from Duke (go blue devils!). I am a huge Washington Football Team Fan and love the beach (especially the OBX). I married another
PT, Tyler, and we live in Fuquay with our dog, Zillie, and our newest addition, our daughter, Sullivan (“Sully”). Pictures below for reference.

My clinical background is in neuro, specifically Traumatic Brain Injury and Stroke, and I have worked most of my career on inpatient rehab units (I still work at WakeMed’s inpatient rehab 2x/month). I am a board-certified specialist in
neurologic PT and also have certifications in brain injury and stroke rehab. I transitioned to academia in 2018 when I completed a two year Faculty Development Residency at Duke DPT and started working at Campbell in February of 2019. I hope you all love it
here HALF as much as I do!

I look forward to getting to know each of you better. If you are one of my advisees, I will be reaching out in the next day or two to set up a meeting.

Feel free to reach out via email or let me know if you’d like to set up a meeting. Good luck conquering these first few weeks of PT school-they are the hardest!
