<p class="MsoNormal">As the first and second years wrap up their summer semester and 3<sup>rd</sup> years nearly to graduation, I am also wrapping up my tenure here at Campbell. While short in time, it was a meaningful experience for me. I believe I was able
to come in and quickly get to work with the team on the background of the department and preparation for accreditation. I believe we made great advances in many areas that will continue on especially under the leadership of Dr. Myers and others. I was able
to work alongside faculty and staff that have the heart and soul for the students and are tremendous educators and advocates for students. I am thrilled to have helped bring in more outstanding faculty members for this upcoming year. There is a lot of excitement
within as I am sure you see in the classroom or you will this fall. I do wish I would have had more time to get to know all of you more personally as my responsibilities did not grant as much time for that as I would have liked. Having said that, you will
find that our profession is small and many of our paths will cross along the way. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if there is ever that opportunity. I have nothing but respect for the students, faculty, and staff in the department and will always
speak highly of the program. Change will always take place. If change is not happening, then we are stagnant as the world continues to move around us. So…keep making positive changes along your journey!
