<p class="MsoNormal">I am kind of frustrated at the results. I’ll be honest.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I have used the same test with 20% variation for the last 5 years.

<p class="MsoNormal">I have lots of metrics on this test and the test questions.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">This year though, I taught it completely different. This is the first time I’ve taught this material without the power points, with hand writing, with review/recall and predication.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I was SUPER excited to see the difference in test scores so I could feel confident that it makes a difference.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">But- with the testing circumstances being so “loose” if I brag about your amazing scores- I can not prove it was you or the teaching strategies. Bummer!<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">These are the score ranges and averages for the last few years<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">2017 64% - avg. 85 – 94%<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">2018 70% - avg. 85 – 97<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">2019 65% - avg 84 – 100<o:p></o:p></p>

<li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">The question on spasticity said “what would you recommend… not do. Pharamacological is the only choice for SEVERE spasticity (gentle ROM and positioning wouldn’t do a thing for it)
– this question was thrown out<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Variable practice is the same task, varying elements (different heights for sit- stand) versus random is different tasks randomly performed, (blocked is the same task over and over
the exact same way until a predetermined level of competence is achieved)<o:p></o:p></li></ol>

<p class="MsoNormal">I always put in some “obscure” questions that really dig into the reading or higher level of integration and if they perform poorly, I use them as BONUS questions. There were a few of those on this test.

<p class="MsoNormal">When I release the test scores, I do so in Examsoft. The report looks like this:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Your Score and the Avg. Score at the top.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Then each question is color coded for “Green” correct, “red” incorrect.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">You can also see if their was any adjustment (bonus- for example)<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">*I label all my questions according to the week/topic. This way you can tell if there was one area that you did not do as well on.<o:p></o:p></p>
