All you have to do is send your congressman/woman a prewritten letter. It only takes a couple of minutes and is a great way to start advocating for our profession. <p><strong>Flash Action Strategy Starts Now!</strong></p>
<p>Our annual Flash Action Strategy is starting right now and we need your participation to make it a success. Every year, this student-led advocacy campaign is conducted in collaboration with APTA and focuses on a specific issue. <strong>We encourage everyone to join in with the students so our message can be amplified over the next two days</strong>. </p>
<p>This year we are advocating for the<strong> Physical Therapist Workforce and Patient Access Act of 2019</strong> (H.R. 2802/S. 970). This legislation will address the opioid epidemic by adding physical therapists to the National Health Service Corps, which would place PTs in rural and underserved areas that are particularly hard hit.</p>
<p><strong>Here's what you can do:</strong></p>
