<p class="MsoNormal">Dr. Bohannon has informed me of his intention to retire May 31, 2019. He has had a meaningful and decorated career as a physical therapist educator and researcher. You have been interacting with and educated by one of the most prolific
PT educators of our time.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I am very appreciative of the passion and commitment that Dr. Bohannon has brought to our program. He has translated his research and evidence into quality teaching and meaningful experiences for students. Behind the scenes, he has served
as an excellent mentor for younger faculty members. As a result, we have a faculty of critical thinkers with good productivity in research. We will miss Dr. Bohannon’s presence in a full-time role; however, he and I wish to keep him interacting with our program
in an adjunct role. I’m working out the details for this.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">As a result of Dr. Bohannon’s retirement announcement, we have posted a full-time faculty position. A committee is in place to find our next full-time faculty member.<o:p></o:p></p>
