Good Afternoon,

My name is Collin Welteroth and I am a current second year medical student
at Campbell. I am contacting the four of you as the leadership
representatives for your programs to ask for your help. Campbell medical
students are pairing up with Sgt. Rosco to create a fundraiser to support
his non-profit and we were hoping to have y'all's help too!

Sgt. Rosco is an incredible individual/veteran that started a non-profit to
help train dogs for other veterans that return home with PTSD. In order to
do this, he spends a large portion of his own money in this endeavor every
year (as in tens of thousands of dollars). So, we would like to set up this
event to help offset some of the cost of his program, which would allow him
to train even more dogs for veterans in need of the help.

The event is currently being set up sort of similar to a fair and will take
place on *October 23* from *11am-2pm *at *Good Time Arcade and Tavern* in
Garner. There will be food provided/paid for by groups and the restaurant
that the event will be taking place in front of. We are looking for
volunteers to help with the event, as well as participants to bring their
dogs (if for nothing else, for the selfish reason of we love dogs and would
love to see as many as possible here lol). We will have some games,
painting dog paws, dog bingo, music, possibly an OMT table (with CUSOM
faculty/students), and more.

We would love to have various groups from the healthcare-related programs
at Campbell present/helping/participating in the day.

If you are interested in helping out in some way, or just have
questions/want logistics, please let me know and we can set up a meeting or
coffee to talk about it. Also if you plan on helping, please know your dogs
are more than welcome!

Thank you in advance (and sorry for the length of this email),
