Dear class of 2021,

As we have all been through the fire of the last year and a half together,
I wanted to officially say goodbye and good luck as I wrap up my last week
at Campbell. For those of you who don't know, I made the decision (back in
April) not to sign another contract at Campbell. At the time I made the
decision, there was a lot of transition in the department, and it was
considered best to hold off on a big announcement. Then, a few weeks later,
Dr. Weaver announced her decision to leave and, in the busyness of life and
work and shifting things around in the department, the announcement fell
lower and lower on the to do list. So I guess I'm making it now 🙂

A range of factors--both personal and professional--played into the
decision. I am excited about the change (and a lot less commuting) and
looking forward to new endeavors!

In terms of the cohorts I have taught at Campbell, I certainly saved one of
the best (you all!) for last. As you will see, the world of physical
therapy (especially if you stay in NC) is pretty small, and we will likely
run into each other again. Either way, I wish each of you the best in your
future endeavors. I am proud of all that you accomplished and continue to
accomplish during a challenging time in the world. Please feel free to look
