Greetings fellow student pharmacists!

Are you interested in learning about what it’s like to be a clinical
pharmacist? Do you want to hear about different paths our pharmacist peers
have taken to land jobs in hospitals, clinics, and long term care
facilities? Do you simply want free lunch or want to dip your toes into one
of the many student pharmacist organizations this school has to offer?

Then mark your calendars for *Wednesday, September 1st at 1pm* (the lunch
hour)! The Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists (SSHP) is hosting
their first general body meeting. This meeting is open to all student
pharmacists, including first year students and non-members of SSHP. During
this meeting you will get to know the current officers, the purpose and
benefits of the organization, how to join, and the timeline of events for
the duration of the semester.

If you would like to attend, *please use the QR code on the attached
announcement slide* and add your name to the google doc. This will help us
determine how much food to provide for lunch. For SSHP members, attendance
will count for 2 points towards ASHP Midyear (which we will also discuss
during the meeting).

I look forward to seeing you there next week! Feel free to reach out to me
directly with any questions.

Best regards,
