I hope you are all enjoying your break. We have an externship opportunity that just opened for the Spring Semester. The potential placement is with the Town of Cary Attorney's Office. Our three-attorney office serves as in-house counsel to Town of Cary, a municipal corporation embodied by a seven-member Town Council, staffed by over 1,200 full time employees, and home to over 180,000 people. Our office advises the Town Council and staff on a myriad of legal matters that span equally numerous practice areas, including (but DEFINITELY not limited to) contracts, constitutional law, land use law, litigation, local government law (public records, open meetings, etc.), and real property.
