[Law24] SBA Elections (from the SBA president)

Greetings Campbell Law Class of 2024:

The time has come for our 1L/FLEX Student Bar Association and Honor Court elections. The nomination process will start at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, August 16th, and will close at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 20th. Completed nomination forms must be emailed to lawsba at email.campbell.edu<mailto:lawsba at email.campbell.edu> by Friday, August 20 at 5 pm. No late submissions will be accepted.


The nomination positions include:

  *   Six (6) 1L SBA Representatives;
  *   One (1) Flex SBA Representatives; and
  *   Three (3) 1L Honor Court Justices.

The candidate nomination forms are attached to this email, along with a copy of the current SBA Constitution and Elections bylaws. Please read through each of these documents for election guidelines. In addition, please also review the Honor Code, which can be found on Podio.

Election campaigning will take place August 23 through August 27, and voting will take place Monday, August 30 at 9 am through Tuesday, August 31 at 5 pm. You will receive an email in the coming days containing specific details on the voting process. In addition, SBA will host an information session on Thursday, August 19 at 6 pm on blackboard collaborate to go over elections and campaigning rules. All students who intend to run are encouraged to attend. A link will be sent out for this information session shortly.

We are extremely excited to welcome our newest members to both the Student Bar Association and the Honor Court. As always, if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to stop by the SBA office.
